Sergei Casper, 17, had been reportedly a good student and popular but his previous school but that all changed when he joined Polytechnic College number 8 on Dmitrov Shosse street in the Russian capital Moscow.
Classmates started bullying him because of his love for the arts and his desire to perform on stage taking part in several concerts. And it was the bullying that led to his death.
One of his friends, named Alexander, told local media: “He was a good guy, he never did anything bad to anyone and he was my friend. But the others just picked on him all the time.”
He said that on the day died, they had been waiting for him in the corridor as video footage confirms, and had grabbed him and carted him off to the toilets, where they had wrapped him completely so that he could not move his legs or arms, and stuck with both feet in the toilet.
Alexander said: “They seemed to think it was hilarious, and then they decided to take their prize back to the classroom where although the teacher was sitting at her desk, she did absolutely nothing to help him.”
The youngster was then stood in the corner like a Christmas tree with coupled towards the teacher’s desk, hitting his throat on the desk to the laughter of classmates.
But as the video shows, it was a fatal blow and while the others laughed he lay on the floor suffocating. By the time they realised he was having serious problem, and called the ambulance, he was already in a critical condition after his throat was crushed.
Investigators who studied this video said it showed clearly that the blame for the deaths was on the classmates of the 17-year-old, and the school has denied that they were aware there was a bullying problem at the institution. They also added that those involved in the bullying had been expelled.
One of those involved, called Dmitri, tried to defend the action saying it was simply a joke that had gone wrong.
However the parents of the dead boy have demanded to know why the teacher was in the class did nothing, and quote schoolfriends who say that the bullying had gone on for months with nobody doing anything.
Police are continuing the investigation.

According to the Daily Mail, Sergei Casper, a 17-year-old student at a Moscow high school, was the victim of a cruel prank by a group of bullies in his class who regularly tormented him.
The prank involved the bullies wrapping Casper in plastic wrap to restrict his movement before putting him feet-first into a toilet. After pulling the prank, the bullies kept him trapped in the plastic wrap and brought him back to the classroom.
After being returned to the classroom, Casper was unable to move his legs. At one point, he tried to walk, but lost his balance and fell towards the teacher’s desk. During the fall, he hit his throat on the desk.
