Ingredients :
- 5 Tbs. butter, softened (unsalted)
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C. whole milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 C. all-purpose flour
- For the glaze:
- 1/2 C. whole milk
- 2 C. confectionery sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3 tbsp. sugar
Preparation :
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a doughnut pan, or a muffin pan. In a mixer combine butter, sugar, egg, 1/2 cup milk, and vanilla extract. The dough should look lumpy.
- Add salt and baking powder. Slowly add the flour.
- Continue mixing until combined. Fill the tins halfway with batter. Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix remaining 1/2 cup of milk with almond extract and confectionery sugar to create the glaze. Glaze doughnuts and top with sugar.
