  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 jar caramel sauce
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Walnuts (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Pour the apple pie filling into the greased baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
  3. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle cinnamon and chopped walnuts over the top, if desired.
  4. In a separate bowl, empty the contents of the yellow cake mix. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the apple and caramel mixture in the baking pan.
  5. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan. Once melted, pour the butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
  6. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  7. Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes to allow it to set up slightly.
  8. Serve the warm caramel apple cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Drizzle additional caramel sauce and sprinkle with walnuts, if desired.
