Caramel Apple Crisp

Ingredients
+GARNISH:
ยฐ1/2 cup all-purpose flour
ยฐ1/4 cup packed brown sugar
ยฐ1/4 tsp salt
ยฐ1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
ยฐ6 tsp cold un-salted butter, cube
ยฐ1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
+FILLING:
ยฐ2 lbs Granny Smith apples
ยฐ1/4 cup caramel sauce
ยฐ1/4 tsp salt
+TO SERVE:
ยฐVanilla ice cream
ยฐExtra caramel sauce for drizzling

*Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Start with the filling. Blending flour, brown sugar, salt & cinnamon in bowl.
Add the butter cubes and break them up using your fingertips to rub the butter and dry ingredients together.

Stir in the rolled oats, then put the entire bowl in the freezer or refrigerator while you work on the apples.
Peeled, cored & cutting apples to small pieces.
Mix well with caramel sauce and salt.
Divide this mixture between four 6 oz ramekins, then evenly sprinkle the oatmeal filling all over the top.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until the fruit is bubbling and the crisp is golden brown.
Serve with ice cream and extra caramel.
