Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Your favorite pizza toppings (such as pepperoni, cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, onions, etc.)
- Italian seasoning or dried oregano (optional, for garnish)
- Marinara sauce or additional pizza sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
-
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. If using crescent roll dough that comes in perforated triangles, gently press the seams together to form a solid rectangle of dough.
-
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
-
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza sauce.
-
Add your desired pizza toppings evenly over the cheese layer. Make sure not to overload the dough with toppings, as it may be difficult to roll up.
-
Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, enclosing the sauce, cheese, and toppings inside. Roll it as tightly as possible to prevent the filling from leaking out.
-
Once rolled, use a sharp knife to slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds. You should get about 12-14 pizza rolls, depending on the size of your dough.
-
Place the pizza rolls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a little apart to allow for slight expansion during baking.
-
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the tops of the pizza rolls, and optionally sprinkle with Italian seasoning or dried oregano for extra flavor.
-
Bake the pizza rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Once baked, remove the pizza rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
-
Serve the pizza rolls warm, optionally with marinara sauce or additional pizza sauce for dipping.
