A wonderful twist on your basic meat loaf! Don’t be afraid of the rolling part – IT’S EASY!
INGREDIENTS :
- 500g of minced meat
- 1 onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 egg
- Baked ham
- 200g of cheese
- For breaded:
- 3 eggs
- 200g (1 3/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
- 100ml (1/2 cup) of milk
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
METHOD :
- – In a bowl add the meat, onion, salt, pepper, and egg, and mix everything well until the mixture is homogenous.
- – Transfer the mixture to the cutting board covered with cling film and distribute the meat by hand. Arrange the baked ham and cheese.
- – Wrap the meat in a loaf and tighten it with cling film. Transfer to the freezer for 1 hour.
- – In a bowl mix the eggs with flour. Add the milk and mix everything well.
- – After time has elapsed cut the meatloaf into rolls and then transfer them to the previously prepared egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- – Fry the meat rolls in the hot oil until they are golden brown on both sides.
