A wonderful twist on your basic meat loaf! Don’t be afraid of the rolling part – IT’S EASY!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 500g of minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Baked ham
  • 200g of cheese
  • For breaded:
  • 3 eggs
  • 200g (1 3/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
  • 100ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

METHOD :

  • – In a bowl add the meat, onion, salt, pepper, and egg, and mix everything well until the mixture is homogenous.
  • – Transfer the mixture to the cutting board covered with cling film and distribute the meat by hand. Arrange the baked ham and cheese.
  • – Wrap the meat in a loaf and tighten it with cling film. Transfer to the freezer for 1 hour.
  • – In a bowl mix the eggs with flour. Add the milk and mix everything well.
  • – After time has elapsed cut the meatloaf into rolls and then transfer them to the previously prepared egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • – Fry the meat rolls in the hot oil until they are golden brown on both sides.
  • – Enjoy
