Ground Beef Pastry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley or green onion
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (or pie dough), thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the filling:
    In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat. Add seasoning and herbs, then let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the pastry:
    Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or circles. Spoon some beef mixture into the center of each piece.
  3. Seal & brush:
    Fold over (into triangles or half-moons), press edges with a fork to seal. Brush with beaten egg for golden color.
  4. Bake:
    Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
