Ingredients:
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 6 oz cream cheese
• Three eggs
• 1 pound of mushrooms
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
• 1 teaspoon dried parsley
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• grated cheese (optional)
Directions:
Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
If the ground beef is too dry, add some olive oil or lightly flavored bacon fat. Set aside to cool.In a food processor, mix the cream cheese and add the eggs one at a time until well combined.
Pour over the minced meat and stir to combine. Pour into the bottom of a small 4-cup (1-liter) casserole dish. Press down.
In a buttered skillet, over medium heat, cook mushrooms until tender and turning brown. Sprinkle with the seasoning salt, parsley and black pepper. Pour over the hamburger mixture.
If wanted, sprinkling topping with cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through. Don’t overcook.
