Ingredients:

  • °1/2 cup cocoa
  • °3/4 cup flour
  • °1/4 tsp. salt
  • °3/4 cup softened unsalted butter
  • °1 3/4 cup sugar
  • °3 eggs
  • °2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • °4 ounces 72% cocoa chocolate, melted and cooled
  • °1 cup quality chocolate chunks
  • °1 c coarsely chopped pecans

Methods:

  • Set aside the cocoa, flour, and salt mixture.
  • Combine the sugar and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix thoroughly.
  • Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until foamy.
  • Combine the flour mixture, melted chocolate, chocolate chunks, and pecans in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°F in a buttered 8 x 11 Pyrex baking dish.
