Hubby’s Ultimate Breakfast Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of biscuits (8 biscuits)
  • Cheese slices
  • Sausage patties
  • Eggs
  • Bacon slices

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the biscuit can. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. Cooking the Components:
    • Sausage: Cook the sausage patties according to the package instructions until they are fully cooked and nicely browned. Set aside.
    • Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy. Once done, remove them from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess grease. Set aside.
    • Eggs: In the same skillet used for bacon (or a separate one if preferred), crack the eggs and cook them to your desired doneness—scrambled, fried, or poached. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Set aside.
  3. Biscuits: Open the can of biscuits and separate them. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and bake according to the instructions on the can until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Assembly:
    • Once the biscuits are baked and cooled slightly, slice each one in half horizontally to create a top and bottom.
    • Place a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each biscuit.
    • Add a cooked sausage patty on top of the cheese.
    • Layer with a cooked egg and a slice of bacon.
    • Finally, place the top half of the biscuit over the filling to complete the sandwich.
  5. Wrapping for Freezing:
    • Individually wrap each assembled sandwich in plastic wrap to ensure they stay fresh and prevent freezer burn.
    • Place two wrapped sandwiches into a zipper-sealed sandwich bag.
    • Repeat until all sandwiches are assembled and packed.
  6. Freezing:
    • Store the wrapped sandwiches in the freezer. They can be stored for up to a month.
  7. Reheating:
    • To reheat, remove the desired number of sandwiches from the freezer and unwrap them.
    • Microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes, or until the sandwiches are heated through.
