While pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and other squashes scream autumn, apples and walnuts always scream it for me too. This walnut apple bread looks amazing. I haven’t been involved in group functions for quite a few years, but I do remember there always being some form of autumn, fall, or Halloween get together. The dessert tables were always filled with desserts and nibbles like walnut apple bread, but not quite this one.
