INGREDIENTS
For 40 mini donuts
- 1 pound multipurpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 pinches of salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup skim milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1 bottle of peanut oil
- 1 jar of strawberry or raspberry jelly
- Powdered sugar to decorate[/tps_header]
[tps_title]PREPARE THE DOUGH[/tps_title]
Put all of the ingredients in a bread maker in the order that the instruction manual recommends. Select the ‘basic’ program and then the ‘dough’ option. The bread maker will knead the dough and then let it rise for about 2 hours.
If you don’t have a bread maker, put the flour in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and then slowly add the liquids while mixing. Knead a little, add the butter and then knead by hand or using a food processor.
