Thankfully, Chloe was in good hands.

However, the firefighters had also one piece of sad news.

They only managed to rescue Smoke, one of the cats. The other cat named Ringer was nowhere to be found – and he was Chloe’s best friend. Christine was heartbroken, and tried to look for him after the fire was put out, but to no avail.

Until one day, Chloe was seen scratching at the floorboards of the once-burnt house. Christine opened it, and saw a dirty cat with a signature curly tail – it was Ringer! He had survived the fire, and went without food for 2 whole months!

Ringer was ferried to the veterinarian immediately, and was given the proper care he needs.
