Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can Manwich sauce (or any Sloppy Joe sauce of your choice)
- Sliced cheese (cheddar, American, or your preference)
- Hamburger buns
- Butter (for toasting buns, optional)
- Potato chips
- Ranch dip
Instructions:
- Brown Ground Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Sloppy Joe Sauce:
- Pour the can of Manwich sauce (or your preferred Sloppy Joe sauce) into the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes until the flavors meld.
- Prepare Buns:
- If desired, spread a little butter on the inside of the hamburger buns. Toast them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes or until they are warm and slightly crispy.
- Stuff Buns:
- Place a generous portion of the Sloppy Joe mixture into each bun.
- Add Cheese:
- Lay slices of cheese on top of the Sloppy Joe mixture inside the buns.
- Melt Cheese:
- Put the stuffed buns in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to melt the cheese.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven, and serve the Stuffed Sloppy Joe’s hot.
- Side Dish:
- Enjoy your Stuffed Sloppy Joe’s with a side of potato chips and ranch dip.
