Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl with the Cajun seasoning mixture. Toss the shrimp until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
- Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- Drizzle the lemon juice evenly over the shrimp.
- Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they are pink and opaque, and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp as they can become tough.
- Once done, remove the shrimp from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the Baked Cajun Shrimp hot, either as an appetizer, over rice or pasta, or as part of a seafood feast. Enjoy the spicy, flavorful goodness!
