There are areas of the world where racism is more of a problem than others. Nancy Spetsioti created this short anti – racist film titled ‘Jafar’ in her native Greek language. The message is easy to understand once you watch it. It quickly went viral when it was released.
It opens when with a man sitting in the waiting room of a doctor’s office. A family, whose ethnicity is different than that of the man’s, enters one by on. At the first the little girl in the family sits next to him. It’s at this point that her mom makes her move away to another seat.
The man notices what they are doing but he does not look at them or respond in any way. It surely can’t be a good feeling to have people not want their children or themselves to sit next to you based on physical appearances.

The doctor finally comes out and calls everyone into his office. The doctor reveals that the little girl just had a bone marrow transplant.
The doctor then introduces the family to Tzafar, who ends up being the person who donated the bone marrow that helped the little girl.
The family is left speechless and looking more than a little embarrassed by their earlier actions towards this this selfless man who is the reason their daughter is alive. The video emphasizes the importance of not judging your fellow man.
