This is my favorite recipe for homemade carrot cake! This cake is easy to prepare, perfectly moist and topped with easy-to-make cream cheese frosting.
- Cake:
- 2 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (12 1/2 ounces)
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
