Christmas Eggnog Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

ยฐ 2 eggs

ยฐ 1 cup sugar

ยฐ 1/2 cup melted butter

ยฐ 1 cup eggnog

ยฐ 2 teaspoons rum flavor extracts or a little more rum

ยฐ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

ยฐ 2 1/3 cups flour

ยฐ 2 teaspoons baking powder

ยฐ 1/2 tsp salt

ยฐ 1/4 tsp nutmeg

ยฐ 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Preparation:

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 350 ยฐ F. Grease the bottom of a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.

2ND STEP

Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the sugar, melted butter, eggnog, rum extract and vanilla extract. Combine the flour with the baking powder, salt and nutmeg, then stir into the eggnog mixture. Stirring just to blend everything.

STEP 3

Pour into the mold. Baking about 41 to 61 min

STEP 4

Let cool 10 minutes in pan before transferring to a wire rack for complete cooling. Packing in plastic wrap also stored in refriigerator.
