You’ll Need :
ยฐFor the crust and filling:
ยฐPinch of salt
ยฐ1 C. all-purpose flour
ยฐยพ C. butter, cold and cubed
ยฐยฝ C sugar
+Fill:
ยฐPinch of salt
ยฐ2 large eggs
ยฐยฝ cup flour
ยฐ1 ea. Sugar
ยฐ16 oz. Pineapple can be crushed
ยฐยฝ cup sour cream
+Decorate:
ยฐ1 C. coconut extract
ยฐ1 ea. Granulated sugar
ยฐ2 tbsp. CAD
Direction :
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Mix the flour and sugar together for the crust mixture.
Cut in cold butter to the mixture crumbles. Save 1 cup of this mixture for later use.
Place remaining crust mixture in bottom of well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Mix the filling ingredients together and spread over the previously baked crust in the baking dish.
Top with reserved crumbled crust mixture.
Bake for 1 hour.
Leave to cook for 15-20 minutes
Whisk the frosting ingredients together until smooth.
Drizzle the frosting over the bars, adding half and half if necessary to reduce the frosting.
Cut it into slices and serve.
