Ingredients:
For the Crumb Topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Cake:

1 and 3/4 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

4 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 and 1/4 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 pinches of salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

About 2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon apple cider

For the Glaze:

2 cups powdered sugar

2-4 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Make the crumb topping by combining the flour, sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Mix with a fork until crumbly and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream, and mix until well combined.

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chopped apples and apple cider until they are evenly distributed.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Sprinkle the crumb topping over the cake batter.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the baking dish for at least 15-20 minutes before removing it from the dish.

Make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.

Slice and serve the Apple Cinnamon Crumb Cake.
