Ingredients for the Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, granulated sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm (about 110ยฐF/45ยฐC) and the butter is melted. Stir the milk mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Add the eggs and beat well. Stir in the remaining flour to make a soft dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
