𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘:
• 1 cup butter or margarine
• 3 cups sugar
• ½ cup cooking oil
• 5 large eggs
• Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sweet milk
• 3 ¾ cups cake flour
Instructions :
Cream butter and sugar.
Add oil 2 tablespoons at a time, beating slightly after each addition.
Add eggs one at a time, beating slightly after each addition.
Add lemon juice, rind, and salt.
Add the milk and flour alternately, ending with flour.
Pour into a greased tube pan with the bottom lined with greased wax paper.
Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 25 minutes
Remove from pan and cool on a cake rack.
