All the comfort of stuffing… in fun, handheld bites!
Ingredients:
- 6 cups prepared stuffing (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for flavor boost)
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tbsp dried)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: ½ cup cooked crumbled sausage or diced sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine the stuffing, eggs, melted butter, Parmesan (if using), and parsley. Mix until everything holds together — you want a moist, but not soggy texture. If it feels too dry, add a tablespoon of broth or water.
- Form into balls: Scoop out about 2–3 tablespoons of mixture and roll into firm balls.
- Place on baking sheet about an inch apart.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
- Serve warm with gravy, cranberry sauce, or as a savory snack on their own!
Tips:
- Great for using up leftover stuffing after the holidays.
- Can be made ahead and reheated — even freezer-friendly!
- Add shredded turkey for a “complete Thanksgiving bite.
