Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
- Stir in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and hot water, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Slowly pour the brown sugar mixture over the batter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow the pecan pie cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
