LENTILS WITH VEGETABLES

Ingredients:

400g of lentils
1/2 leek
1/2 onion
2 carrots
1 medium potato
1 clove garlic
a teaspoon of paprika
Water
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
Three tablespoons of olive oil

Directions:

Making some lentils with vegetables is an easy cooking recipe, where they exist. First, peel and wash the potato and carrot. We also peel the onion. Then we cut the rest of the vegetables into small pieces.
Now, we put all the ingredients of our lentils with vegetables in a tall pot. We cover them well with water (it will depend on how thick we want the lentils. For me, I like something broth, water until it covers all the ingredients about 3 fingers above) and bring them to a boil.

When it has broken to a boil, we cover it and let it cook for about 20 minutes. It is best to try it as not all lentils take the same time to cook but, after 20-30 minutes, we try it. When they are soft, they are ready to eat.
