Malted Cheesecake is a creamy and delicious dessert that combines the flavors of a classic cheesecake with the richness of malt
You’ll Need :
For the crust:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
For the filling:
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup malt powder
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
For the topping:
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set it aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the sugar, malt powder, eggs, and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined. Stir in the heavy cream.
Pour the mixture over the crust in the prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is just slightly jiggly.
In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Spread the mixture over the top of the cheesecake and return it to the oven for 5 minutes.
Allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve with a drizzle of chocolate sauce or malt syrup, if desired. Enjoy!
