Ingredients:
• 2 cups sliced sweet onions
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp cornmeal (optional)
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt + ¼ tsp pepper
• ¾ cup milk
• Oil for frying
Direction :
Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and onions to form thick batter.
Drop spoonfuls into hot oil. Flatten slightly.
Fry 2–3 min per side until golden brown.
Drain & serve warm with dipping sauce
