Bacon-Wrapped Air Fryer Hot Dogs with Chili and Cheese

4 beef or pork hot dogs
8 slices of bacon
1 cup chili (homemade or canned)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 hot dog buns
Optional toppings: diced onions, chopped cilantro, sour cream


Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Take each hot dog and wrap it with two slices of bacon, ensuring the ends are secured. You can use toothpicks if necessary.
Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
Cook the hot dogs in the air fryer for 6-7 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. Keep a close eye on them to prevent the hot dogs from exploding. Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer’s model and the desired crispiness of the bacon.
While the hot dogs are cooking, warm the chili either on the stove or in the microwave.
Once the bacon-wrapped hot dogs are cooked, carefully remove them from the air fryer.
Place each bacon-wrapped hot dog in a bun and spoon a generous amount of chili over the top.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chili.
Optionally, add diced onions, chopped cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious bacon-wrapped hot dogs with chili and cheese!
