Double Caramel Pound Cake

Ingredients / for 8 people:

  • ยฐ4 eggs (weigh them, their weight will be used to weigh the other ingredients)
  • ยฐsame weight of powdered sugar
  • ยฐsame weight of flour
  • ยฐsame weight of butter
  • ยฐ1 packet of baking powder
  • ยฐ4 golden apples (sweeter taste)
  • ยฐ2 tablespoons salted butter caramel
  • ยฐ1 pinch of cinnamon


PREPARATION


1Preheat the oven to 190ยฐC, thermostat 6. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar, then the sifted flour and baking powder. Melt the butter and add it to the mixture.

Mix.2Peel and core 4 golden apples (they will be more tender and sweeter in taste) and grate them on a coarse grater. Add them to the dough.

Add 2 generous tablespoons of salted butter caramel sauce (heated beforehand for more fluidity). Mix well with the spatula.

To finishLine an earthenware mold or a cake mold with butter and flour. Pour in the mixture and bake for at least 45 minutes.

The cake is cooked when the tip of a knife comes out “dry”. Let cool before serving.
