Ingredients :
- °1 pound ground beef
- °1 small onion, diced
- °Salt and pepper, to taste
- °2 tsp taco season
- °1 tsp garlic powder
- °1 c long grain white rice
- °1 1/2 c beef broth
- °1 can corn (15 ounces), drained
- °8 ounces of tomato sauce
- °1/2 cup salsa
- °1 cup grated cheese Methods
Directions :
Cook ground beef and onion with salt and pepper to taste in a large skillet over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink.
Drain grease if necessary.Returning pan to stove & sprinkling beef with garlic powder & taco season.Stirring in rice, broth, corn, tomato sauce & salsa.
Bring mixture to boil. Covering, reduce heat &; simmer 18 to 20 min to rice is tender.
Topping with cheese & putting lid back on the pan for 2-3 min to cheese is melt .
