
Ingredients :
• 1 large head green cabbage (12–14 leaves)
• 1 lb ground beef
• ½ cup uncooked white rice
• 1 egg
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp salt & ½ tsp pepper
• 2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp paprika (optional)
• 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)
Step By Step :
Boil cabbage head for 3–5 minutes until leaves are soft. Cool slightly and peel off 12–14 large leaves
In a bowl, mix ground beef, rice, egg, onion, garlic, salt & pepper.
Place 2–3 tbsp filling in each leaf, roll up like a burrito.
Pour a little sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add a layer of rolls.
Mix tomato sauce, Worcestershire, paprika, and brown sugar. Pour over rolls.
Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or until tender.
Serve with extra sauce and crusty bread!
