The Best Peach Dump Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of peaches in heavy syrup
  • Cinnamon (to taste)
  • Vanilla extract (optional)
  • Brown sugar (to taste, optional)
  • 1 box of dry yellow cake mix
  • Parkay butter or regular butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray or grease a small/medium baking dish with oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Open the cans of peaches and pour them, along with their heavy syrup, into the baking dish.
  4. If desired, add a sprinkle of cinnamon, a splash of vanilla extract, and brown sugar to enhance the flavor. Mix these into the peaches.
  5. Evenly distribute the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches in the baking dish.
  6. Drizzle Parkay butter or place slices of regular butter over the top of the dry cake mix. This adds richness and helps with the crumbly texture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
