Ingredients:
- 2 cans of peaches in heavy syrup
- Cinnamon (to taste)
- Vanilla extract (optional)
- Brown sugar (to taste, optional)
- 1 box of dry yellow cake mix
- Parkay butter or regular butter
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray or grease a small/medium baking dish with oil to prevent sticking.
- Open the cans of peaches and pour them, along with their heavy syrup, into the baking dish.
- If desired, add a sprinkle of cinnamon, a splash of vanilla extract, and brown sugar to enhance the flavor. Mix these into the peaches.
- Evenly distribute the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Drizzle Parkay butter or place slices of regular butter over the top of the dry cake mix. This adds richness and helps with the crumbly texture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
